Episode 3 – Impact Summit Salt Lake City

Hooray for the new and improved Linkedin algorithm! Without it, I might not have heard of Impact Summit.

LinkedIn knows I am in SLC and I love marketing, which is how I was led to a post by Julia Deaver. Julia, who is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Impact Summit, posted about one of the Keynote Speakers James Lawerence, the Iron Cowboy. Of course with a nickname like that, I had to check out the conference. Impact Summit is being held on October 13th, where 600 executives, entrepreneurs, and marketers are coming together for one of the premier conferences on personal brand building.

When I found out that it was focused on building a personal brand and it was in my own backyard, it was a no-brainer for me to register. Personal branding is huge for me, as I went “all in” on that journey the beginning of 2016. I am a big believer in building a personal brand, especially in my main industry of Mortgage & Real Estate. I had the good fortune to connect with Julia on LinkedIn which led to being able to share their story on Episode 3 of the Built In Salt Lake Podcast.

What is Impact Summit?

I could tell you and just send you to their website, but instead why not hear it from one of the co-founders in their own words.

On Episode 3, Rob Duffin, COO @ Influencer Inc and Co-Founder of Impact Summit, joins me to talk about this personal branding conference. Rob discusses the history of Impact Summit, their mission, details on the event, and some info on the speakers. Click on the link below to listen to the podcast.
